Here is a really nice ankle brace! This one is my personal favorite for good support and I think you should definitely check out the Aircast AirSport ankle brace. This is a suprisingly comfortable brace with great stability! I personally use this brace when I am playing basketball. It is quick to put on and to get off and fits in my shoe with no problem; just: Step In... Strap Up... and Go! If it gets loose (which hasn't been a problem so far) it can be retightened easily and quickly. It is an easy-to-apply, low profile ankle brace and combines proven features semi-rigid shells and foam filled aircells which doesn't compromise comfort. Additional compression and stabilization are provided by the AirSport's ATF cross-strap and forefoot and shin wraps. The Coated Fabric is durable and long-lasting. The great support and comfort of this ankle brace are what makes it my personal favorite. I turned my ankle and was completely unable to play soccer for 6 weeks. When I ready to play again, my ankle was still very unstable and giving me occasional brief but stabbing pain. Using the Aircast Airsport Stirrup / Ankle Brace, I am able to play (although a bit passively for now) with the sense of support, stability, and armor protection around the still healing ankle. I like the wrap-around Velcro strap design. It allows for a very rigid and secure binding of the two halves of the stirrup. There was a little conflict with the soccer boots I am using, but after a few games the boot �broke-in� and stretched just a bit to allow for the stirrup, so now it�s quite comfortable. The only compromise is that there is no shin guard that I can find that will work properly with the stirrup. My idea is to cut up a custom shin guard that can work properly the stirrup so that side can have maximum protection. ~Mark San Jose, CA
