The Thermotex^™ TTS Platinum provides healing deep heat utilizing the principles of Far Infrared Therapy(FIR). Therapeutic waves penetrate deeply into muscles, joint capsules, cartilages, ligaments and for intense healing and re-building. The Thermotex^™ Platinum (model: tts-platinum) wraps easily to apply for pain, stiffness and healing of lumbar back pain, knee pain, thigh pain, leg pain or arm pain. The Thermotex^™ Platinum Infrared Heating Pad has three hinged, therapeutic elements allowing the unit to wrap around body parts. Combined with the Velcro straps easy application to the particular area involved is facilitated.

Unlike transfer of surface heat conveyed by most heating therapies, Thermotex^™ uses Far Infrared to drive thermal heat waves deep into the tissues. A subsequent vasodilation (i.e. increased blood flow) delivers cellular nutrition and abundant healing oxygen, while eliminating waste and lactic acid via improved lymphatic drainage. Other than during the first 48-72 hours of acute injury, this therapy helps decrease inflammation by bringing in healing nutrients while ridding the area of toxic metabolites. CAUTIONS and CONTRAINDICATIONS: Most heat is developed in the deeper layers of the skin or underlying tissues. However, Thermotex products may increase skin surface temperatures to as much as 135 degrees Farenheit while on the high setting. This is considered safe for most users. However, use with the following conditions is contraindicated:
- Pregnancy, Adrenal Suppression Disorders, Addison's Disease, Hemophilia or Multiple Sclerosis
CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN PRIOR TO USE UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- Infections, fever or acutely swollen joints
- Over Metal Implants
- Cancers and Metastases
- Silicon Implants
- Diabetes and Peripheral Neuropathies
- Disorders of poor circulation
USE WITH CAUTION FOR THE FOLLOWING:
- Those with loss of sensation or paralysis should be supervised while using because they cannot sense pain or over-heating if heat builds up due to impeded circulation.
- DISCONTINUE if pain is increased by infrared therapy
INDICATIONS FOR USE:
The Thermotex Heat Therapy Systems are indicated for the temporary relief of minor muscle pain and joint pain stiffness; the temporary relief of joint pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms, minor strains and sprains and minor muscular back pain; to induce muscular relaxation; and for temporary increase of local circulation where applied.

THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOL:
Please note that for the most effective heat therapy treatment, it is recommended you start with the high setting for only 10-15 minutes then change to the low setting for 15-25 minutes.

RETURNS: The Thermotex product makes contact with the body and therefore can only be returned under our 30 day return policy if the box is unopened and the unit has not been tried. All returns must be pre-authorized by notifying Back Be Nimble customer service via email to sales@backbenimble.com. Customer will be responsible for returning the unit in new, resalable condition to the Canadian factory address to be provided in response to your email inquiry. If the unit was sent to you under our free shipping protocol, a restocking fee of $27.50 will be deducted from your product refund to cover the cost of our outbound freight.
