Unique Adjustable Bed Features
The EL (European Luxury) Model with a wireless remote is our most popular motorized adjustable bed. It includes a relaxing programmable massage system. Mattress choices include our Memory Foam Mattress from Nimble-Pedic™ that compare superbly to Tempurpedic®, or a plush Talalay Latex Foam Mattress. Engineered for comfort and durability these beds utilize the world's quietest European DC Motor System. These beds are great for couples or single users. Electropedic Bed Frame

The Electropedic Adjustable Bed Frame is second to none. It eliminates the unsightly plywood base seen with other electric adjustable beds and is constructed from high carbon steel (the strongest steel available). This frame is made to last forever - featuring riveted joints, tension spacers (not nuts and bolts). When flat, the steel frame rests on the high carbon steel frame and completely supportive of body weight. (Thus, it is not built on a wood base with reinforced sheet metal like competitive beds). The metal frame supports the entire length of the bed. This provides full and complete support for the foundation and mattress. Most importantly, it appears in your bedroom like a traditional mattress set. The totality of these features are unique to the Electropedic manufacturer.

NOTE FOR COUPLES: Dual Beds are best for couples. Dual Beds allow each person to adjust their own position without interfering with their partner's personal choice (e.g. one is reading while the other sleeps).

BED HEIGHT
Optional leg extenders are available to increase the overall bed height by 3 inches. This is sometimes advantageous for those who have difficulty sitting or arising from a low surface. For those choosing the Nimble-Pedic Memory Foam Mattress, the height is also easily enhanced from 23.0 to 25.0" by simply selecting the Deluxe 10" thick mattress instead of the traditional 8.5" mattress.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
All sizes and configurations are further classified according to recommended weight capacity, AC or DC current, sound level, type of remote, and motor strength. These specifications are outlined below, in the next section, with links to order forms for each.

WHY YOU NEED Back Be Nimble's ADJUSTABLE BED SLEEP SYSTEM
	Getting Out of Bed - when arising from bed with a low back condition, we recommend that you first lower the legs completely, then elevate your upper body to an almost complete sitting position. This will make exiting your bed easier, without pressure on the lower back.
	Elevating Your Upper Body allows gravity to assist your heart muscle while making breathing easier and your airway less congested. This is wonderful for sleep apnea sufferers.
	Hiatal Hernia - upper body elevation allows gravity to assist the stomach, lessen the hernia and decrease associated indigestion.
	Reflux and GERD - upper body elevation utilizes gravity to assist the stomach and whereby the stomach acid will run downhill relieving reflux and heartburn.
	Circulation - elevating your legs above your heart allows gravity to assist circulation. This is especially recommended for varicose veins, swelling of the legs and muscle cramps. Varicose vein sufferers are advised to elevate their legs above their heart to assist venous flow of blood back to the heart.
	Neck and Back - slightly elevating your back and legs, relaxes the neck & shoulders.
	Low Back and Hips - on a flat bed, tension on the lower back is created by the hip flexor muscles. Elevating your legs while bending the knees relaxes the lumbar spine and hip muscles, thus removing pressure from sensitive discs and nerves.
	Passive Back Stretching - chronic back pain sufferers and those confined to a bed may use their bed to keep them flexible. Start flat, then elevate your back and legs at the same time all the way up and then all the way down. You will feel a good stretch of your back (NOTE: ask your doctor first).
	European Massaging Motors - the finest available, circular massaging action transmits gentle relaxing sonic massage waves over the entire body. The luxurious EL model offers programmable "auto massage" as well as manual massage selections.

The Nimble-Pedic™ Memory Foam (by itself or combined with our adjustable bed), is Back Be Nimble's choice for the world's best performing mattress. Ingeniously made from a temperature-sensitive visco-elastic memory foam, like that originally developed 20 years ago by the N.A.S.A. Space Program, this mattress is the best one we've tested because it truly conforms to the shape & curves of the human body. Therefore, it provides equally dispersed support with no specific pressure points or sagging of the spine ("hammock effect") - two undesirable properties commonly associated with conventional mattresses, air beds, or water beds. Now available in both our Traditional 8.5" and our Deluxe 10" model. Additionally, Nimble-Pedic™ is allergy and dust-mite free, and complimented by a 20 year manufacturer's warranty. This mattress is the perfect companion to one of our adjustable beds.

Our Latex Mattresses may be a good choice for those who wish a less expensive but still exceptional mattress. Our Latex Mattress is constructed of the finest materials as follows:

5 5/8" Pure 100% Pin-Core Latex Core
Approximately 3/4" quilting surrounding the mattress (with handles on both sides).
The surface that touches your sheets is an attractive plushy soft but durable nylon - rayon fabric in a ginger color.
Within the quilted portion is a thin layer of compresses poly urethane foam along with polyester fiberfill (provides air flow and coolness in summer, as well as insulation in the winter time).
Latex mattresses have a 20 year manufacturer's warranty (CLICK HERE for specific warranty information).

Our Latex Mattresses come in 4 different densities as well. You can select from

Soft - 28-32 - Recommended for those who enjoy a softer feel. Unsupportive for those weighing over 150 lbs.
Regular Firm - 33-36 - Recommended for those who like a good firm feel, but not extra firm. Usually recommended for those who weigh less that 150 pounds.
Extra Firm - 37-39 - Recommended for those who like extra firm support or those weighing more than 200 lbs.
Ultra Firm - 40-44 - Recommended only for those who insist that they enjoy sleeping on the floor.

Note: Our most popular selling firmness is regular firm (33-36) for those persons weighing less than 200 lbs.

Coil Spring Mattresses are not our top choice for adjustable beds. However, if spring coils are your preference we do offer the finest coil spring mattresses available for adjustable beds. Features of our Coil Spring Mattress include things like being completely reversible from head to foot and upside down - offset Leggett and Platt 330 coils (the very highest quality coils made) - tempered and pre-tempered steel - a twice heat-treated coil spring unit. The mattresses are individually hinged every 3 1/2" to allow for perfect bending in every position and are inside buttoned (inner-tufted). There are 4 layers of material over the springs and the inner 3 layers are buttoned to the springs (though you won't feel the buttons) for lasting durability and to keep the material from bunching. The outer layer incorporates a luxurious, quilted soft top (on both sides of the mattress), which will allow your body to sink 1/4 to 1/2 inch, providing an extra cushion of comfort.

The firmness of our Coil Spring Mattresses is determined by a combination of the gauge of wire used in the springs, partnered with a bevy of high quality foam rails between the rows of springs. By varying this combination, we can provide a selection of 3 firmnesses.

Regular Firm - 13.5 gauge - for users weighing between 50-200 lbs. who prefer a softer feel.
Extra Firm - 13 gauge - for users weighing between 125-200 lbs. who prefer a firmer feel.
Ultra Firm - 12.5 gauge - for users weighing over 200 lbs. or simply those liking a very firm mattress.

The ST Model Adjustable beds are equiped with the Soft Touch wired remote control unit which incorporates the latest, feather-tough design technology to make every adjustment commane effortless.

The ST remote allows you to individually elevate your back and legs to exactly the position that you desire - and you have over 1001 positions at a simple touch of your finger.

You can also use the ST remote to start and stop the built in massager. Our massage system includes two of the highest quality, circular -motion massagers: one for your back and one for your legs. Each massager has two speeds. There's even a built in timer that will automatically turn off both massagers in 30 minutes.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping Criteria: Our adjustable beds are crated fully assembled with the mattress (es) in place. Dual Queen or Dual King beds are shipped fully assembled with each bed in a separate box. They arrive either via common freight carrier for driveway delivery (no charge), or should you select our optional Full Service Delivery, at an upcharge ($199.00), we will have professional furniture movers (2 people) place the beds inside your room of choice. If you select the simple driveway delivery, you must consider the size and weight of these beds (150-275 lbs). You should be prepared to have 2 able bodied helpers to aid the freight carrier (one person) remove the beds from the truck and place the bed(s) where you would like them. As far as set up, they are almost ready to plug in when you uncrate them. See some helpful minimal assembly instructions below.
