The Foam Bed Wedge comes in 2 sizes (i.e. heights/inclines). If you are being referred by your physician for such, you may want to consult with them on which size would be best for your particular condition. That being said, the 7" version is easier to adapt to for most people. If you can't get comfortable and fall asleep on it, you're probably not going to use it and some elevation is better than none.
Two Helpful Suggestions:
Our health care consultants recommend utilizing a good supportive cervical(neck) pillow on top of the foam bed wedge to support the natural neck curve. This opens the airway to even better enhance breathing.
Additionally, many of our customers find that placing a pressure relieving, fluffy pillow under their knees while using their bed wedge can greatly enhance comfort and prevent your torso from sliding down your wedge while asleep.
